Move For Hunger –
A not-for-profit initiative founded by a Wheaton agent – aligns interstate agents for Wheaton World Wide Moving and its customers with local food banks associated with Feed America. During the relocation process, Wheaton agents offer to pick up customers’ unwanted nonperishable items and deliver them directly to the local food bank. It’s a win-win for all parties – food banks get a much needed boost all year long, customers feel good about the donation (and may even offset some of the cost of their move by reducing the weight of heavier canned goods), and Wheaton is able to participate in a nationwide initiative to combat hunger.
