Each year, Gleaners serves more than 237,000 Hoosiers in 21 counties after recently picking up Franklin county.
How do we reach so many people? Through our partnerships with more than 400 not-for-profit hunger-relief programs.
Gleaners provides food and grocery items to food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters and residential care centers —IRS-certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that feed people at no cost to the client.

Gleaners’ member charities are located in the central and southeastern regions of the state. Those counties are: Bartholomew, Boone, Decatur, Fayette, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Putnam, Ripley, Rush, Scott, Shelby, Union and Wayne.
In addition, Gleaners' direct-service Commodity Supplemental Food Program serves seniors in Davies, Knox and Vermillion counties.
