The Board of Directors of Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana elected new officers and members at its annual meeting in early November.

Joining the Gleaners Board are:

Tim Bettington is the Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Market Development at Elanco. Tim is a recognized animal health leader with more than 25 years of experience beginning in his native Australia and across Europe. In his current role at Elanco, he is responsible for corporate strategy and market development, focusing on launch readiness and driving growth initiatives.

Kayla Ernst is a Partner with Ice Miller LLP where she practices labor and employment law. Kayla has been involved with Gleaners since January 2024 and currently service on the organization’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.

Gustavo Garavaglia is the Chief Financial Officer of AES US Utilities. He previously spent twelve years at AES, serving as Vice President and CFO for AS Indiana and AES Ohio.

Rebecca Jacklin is the Director of Nonprofit Strategy for the Midwest region for PNC Institutional Asset Management. In her role, she helps enhance nonprofit client relationships through direct engagement and customizing guidance.

Rhonda Pacheco is the Group Vice President for Eli Lilly and Company for US Cardiometabolic Health. She is a passionate leader, focused on leading diverse teams to deliver on common goals. She works to foster high-performing teams in pursuit of improving patient outcomes and health equity.

Two outgoing Board members were recognized for their service. Chad Mayer leads the Supply Chain Solutions for Cummins, Inc. and has served on the Gleaners Board of Directors for eleven years, two of them as Board Chairperson. Bill Stanczykiewicz is with the Philanthropy School and has served on the Board since 2020, including a leadership position as Chair of the Development Committee.
